The Government of Pakistan has introduced a substantial improvement by reinstating the Benazir Card. This card will facilitate easy access to financial assistance for all eligible recipients of the Benazir Income Support Program.

Eligibility for the Benazir Card
The Government of Pakistan has decided to extend this facility to individuals who were previously eligible under the Benazir Income Support Program and held the Benazir Card or those who received the Ehsaas Kafalat Card through the Ehsaas Program. These individuals will once again be granted access to this service.
Reinstating Existing Benazir Cards
Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi has announced that individuals who currently possess Benazir Cards and remain eligible for the Income Support Program will have their cards reactivated. Furthermore, it has been reported that approximately two hundred thousand cards have already been reinstated, including eight hundred thousand individuals who were removed from the program during the PTI government’s tenure. Additionally, all other eligible individuals will receive Benazir Cards before the next installment.

Notably, with the latest release of the Benazir Kafalat Program installment, beneficiaries will no longer have to navigate the complexities of specific distribution centers. Instead, they can conveniently withdraw their funds from HBL Bank ATMs without any deductions.
