Initially introduced in 14 districts, the Benazir Nashonuma Program is now slated for expansion to approximately 45 districts across Pakistan, with all centers expected to be operational by August 2023.

The Benazir Income Support Program has decided to disburse funds from the Benazir Nashwa program exclusively to eligible women already receiving assistance.

Eligibility Criteria for the Nashonuma Program

The Benazir Nashunoma Program aims to combat malnutrition by providing financial support to pregnant and lactating mothers, lactating women, and children under two years old in beneficiary families. Boys receive 1,000 rupees, while girls receive 2,500 rupees. Pregnant women are entitled to 25,000 rupees.

To qualify for these benefits, women must undergo regular medical check-ups, avail themselves of free healthcare services, including vaccinations and immunizations, and actively participate in awareness sessions.
