Eligible Universities for the PM Laptop Scheme
The PM Laptop Scheme is designed to benefit financially challenged and industrious students. Laptops will be allocated to students studying in public sector educational institutions, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The selection of recipients will be based on merit relevant to their respective universities.
PM Laptop Scheme Update
In the upcoming year 2024, the program aims to provide over one hundred thousand laptops to both male and female students, as per the directive of the Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
This decision stems from the fact that many deserving and talented students were unable to receive laptops in the previous distribution, which was limited to 50,000 units. Consequently, the government has committed to distributing more than one hundred thousand laptops to students across all universities in Pakistan, commencing in the upcoming academic year.
